My sister and her family are facing unimaginable hardship after the devastating earthquake that struck Venezuela on June 24. As her sister, I am organizing this fundraiser to help them through this incredibly difficult time. The disaster left them with nothing, and three members of the family are currently hospitalized, fighting to recover from injuries and trauma caused by the earthquake. My sister herself recently survived a medical emergency as a result of the disaster, and the road to recovery is long and uncertain.
